PressNew blueprints introduced at Roslin ReserveRoslin Homes continues to expand its selection of semi-custom home designs and options with the introduction of the new Fireside and Tranquility blueprints at Roslin Reserve in Oswego. With base prices for these ranch homes ranging from $349,900 to $351,900 and providing approximately 2,100 to 2,300 square feet of stair-free living space, the new plans represent the first ranch homes offered in the builder's Oswego portfolio. "The Fireside and Tranquility plans are specifically designed to satisfy the increasing numbers of homebuyers looking for a stair-free lifestyle," said Bill Ryan, president of Roslin Homes. "Both of these homes have attractive interior and exterior architecture and are flexible enough to be increased in size by a couple hundred feet." The Fireside and Tranquility, which are not available for walk-through tours yet, represent two of the 11 single-family floor plans offered at Roslin Reserve. The new Fireside floor plan is a ranch design that offers 2,100 square feet of living space, a two-car attached garage and an optional basement. Upon entering, guests are welcomed by a spacious foyer with ceramic tile or hardwood flooring and grand views of the den and formal dining room. Both rooms are located toward the front of the home and have oversized windows that allow an abundance of natural light to pour into the rooms. Moving toward the rear of the home you will find the dramatic family room, which can be augmented with a cathedral ceiling and masonry fireplace. As with other rooms, the family room is bathed in sunlight from large windows and a French door which allows access to the covered patio. Within the large kitchen are an abundance of furniture-quality cabinets, breakfast bar food preparation island, and a full set of name brand appliances (gas stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave and refrigerator). Base priced at $349,900, but for an additional sum, the Fireside plan is designed to be enlarged by several hundred feet, thus allowing the construction of two additional bedrooms and a full size bathroom on the second level. Ceramic floor tile or hardwood flooring is standard in foyers and baths, plus nine-foot ceilings and 42" upper cabinets in kitchen are included as well. In recognition of ever increasing utility costs, this home will also be equipped with an energy efficient 13 Seer central air conditioner and 90% efficient gas furnace. In addition to the Fireside and Tranquility, a variety of two-story floor plans are available within the community. These floor plans will include up to five bedrooms and 41/2 baths, well-designed kitchens, breakfast areas, living rooms, family rooms, formal dining rooms, dens (per plan), and attached oversized two-car garages. For those looking to personalize the interior or exterior of their home, Roslin Homes offers a list of options.
