Homes that provide a first-floor master bedroom suite, and consolidate all of the primary living areas to one floor, are becoming more and more popular these days.

To meet demand in this market segment, Roslin Homes now offers a selection of ranch and two-story models with these attributes at the Enclave of Woodstock, a single-family home community east of the Bull Valley Golf Course. Offering seven different villa floor plans, all of which offer first-floor master suites, these homes provide 2,100 to 3,300 square feet of space and are base priced from $327,990 to $399,990. Clustered around open green space or backed up to mature stands of trees, all villas are part of a homeowners association that is responsible for maintenance items like cutting the grass, maintaining the landscaping, and shoveling or plowing all snow.

"As Baby Boomers move into their empty-nester years, they prefer ranches and first-floor master bedroom suites," said Bill Ryan, president of Roslin Homes. Our customers seek the lifestyle advantages of these designs and place importance on the style of their home."

These Cape Cod inspired villas by Roslin Homes feature full basements, professionally installed landscaping and sodded front yards, and two-car garages. Gourmet kitchens feature a full appliance package (gas stove, dishwasher, microwaves, garbage disposal and refrigerator). Ceramic floor tile or hardwood flooring are standard in many rooms as well. All homes are also equipped with high efficiency air conditioners and furnaces.

As a result of the property's rolling topography, homes with English-style window basements are offered as well. The Enclave Villas offer a choice of architectural elevations, which may include brick or stone, wood siding, flattering soffit details and architecturally interesting rooflines. Each residence includes 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths, three or four bedrooms, loft (per plan), separate breakfast area, a family room, formal dining room, kitchen with an abundance of hardwood cabinetry and a den or study.

Every Roslin home is outfitted with insulated windows, raised-panel exterior doors, furniture-quality hardwood cabinets, gas range, dishwasher, soaking tub and separate shower in master bath and a fully-sodded homesite. Homeowners can also expect to find full basements, 9-foot first-floor and volume ceilings (per plan) in each Roslin home at no additional cost.

For those looking to personalize the interior or exterior of their Villa home, Roslin Homes offers a list of options. Homes can be enhanced with brick or stone exteriors; Silstone, Hi-Macs or Granite countertops; additional hardwood flooring; whirlpool tubs; security alarm systems; central vacuums; fireplaces and more.

The Enclave community is immersed in the beauty of The Sanctuary of Bull Valley, with 200 acres of mature trees, open areas, native plants and wildflowers. The Sanctuary of Bull Valley earned the EPA's 2005 Conservation and Native Landscaping Award as well as The HBAGC's Silver Key Award for land planning.

For maximum privacy between homeowners, Roslin Homes has paid attention to the location of every available homesite. As a result, a large percentage of the homesites will not back up to another homesite. Thus the majority of the homeowners will look out their back window and see grasslands, golf course vistas or water, and not the back of another home.

Upon completion, The Enclave will have 97 single-family homes. This community is on the north side of McConnell Road, approximately two miles east of Route 47 (Eastwood Drive).

Currently, the Enclave has an onsite sales center open for buyers to stop by and pick up collateral materials and price sheets. Call (630) 242-2940 or visit www.roslinhomes.com. Roslin Homes' sales center is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Roslin Homes.
